Pupil with special educational needs in small class schools

The thesis deals with the issue of education of pupils with special educational needs in small class schools. In the theoretical part, the concepts related to the issue are outlined, namely special educational needs, support measures and their levels, counselling system, characteristics of selected special educational needs and in the conclusion of the theoretical part attention is paid to small class schools. The basic characteristics, the history of small class schools and how it is abroad and last but not least the advantages and disadvantages of small class schools are presented. The practical part is devoted to the qualitative research conducted to describe the specifics of the approach to pupils with special educational needs in small class schools and what factors play a role in supporting these pupils. Two primary schools from the Pilsen region and one primary school from the South Bohemia region were selected for the research investigation. Observations of teaching of pupils with special educational needs were carried out in these schools. Subsequently, a semi-structured interview was conducted with three class teachers. The collected data was analysed through open coding. The research revealed that small classroom schools represent a suitable environment for pupils with special educational needs.
An opinion of pupils of elementary school on teacher's assistant

This bachelor thesis focuses on an opinion of pupils of elementary school on teacher's assistant. The theoretical part consists of two main chapters. The first is the definition of inclusive education and its form in primary school. The second chapter focus on the profession of teacher's assistant. Firstly, the legislation governing this profession, from the point of view of needed qualifications, performing direct and indirect pedagogical activities and salary classification. Then defining the subject of work of the teacher's assistant and cooperation between the teacher and the teacher's assistant at primary school. The aim of this thesis is to find out what opinion of pupils of elementary school on teacher's assistant, what according to them is the subject of his work and what is their experience with cooperation between the assistant and the teacher.
Inclusive education from the point of view of secondary school teachers

This bachelor thesis is looking at topic of inclusive education from view of highschool teachers. Theoretical part identifies the basic terminology connected to inclusive education in the Czech Republic, system of school psychology and work of teachers with teacher's asistents. Last but not least characteristics of pupils with special needs is being included. Empirical part is based on interviews of high school teachers. Each of the questions is followed by the answer of the respondent. The thesis is finalized by resume of theoretical and empirical conclusions.
Education of pupils with special educational needs in elementary school in Prague 2

This thesis is devoted to the problems of children with special educational needs, with a focus on elementary schools in Prague 2. The first part of the thesis describes the aims, particularly the identification of positive experiences and negative examples from practice, and research questions. Next part is devoted to methodology, in which the author deals with the description of data collection and the production of materials for semi-structured interviews. The author describes the theoretical and conceptual background of selected issues and presents the basic terminology and historical context of education of children with special educational needs in the Czech Republic. The second part focuses on the empirical research that has been devoted specifically to autistic children. The first part contains a basic summary of integrated children in primary schools in Prague 2. This part is followed by findings from the interviews, which are logically divided into three main sections. In conclusion there is a synthesis of the most important information and their relation to the selected concepts. Education of kids with different language in kindergarten from teacher's point of view

Thesis deals with different difficulties of education of children with different language in kindergarten. The aim is to find out and describe opinions and attitudes of teachers in kindergartens, which influences the education of this particular group of children. Theoretical part is the basis for established targets. It describes the principles and policies of preschool education, heterogeneity in inclusive education. Attention is paid to legislative support for the education of foreigners in Czech Republic and changes in the legislation education of children with special educational needs.The practical part analyzes informations obtained from the questionnaires conducted among kindergarten teachers with the experience of teaching children with different mother tongues. Questionnaire survey is focused on the education part for supporting measures, cooperation with other entities, cooperation with family and methodological support of the teachers.
